2015 Asia Pacific Film Festival
Great Event In Auckland

2015 New Zealand Asia Pacific Fim Festival was held from 31 October to 5 November 2015 at Skycity Theatre, Auckland. New Zealand film "Abandoned" which is starring by Dominic Purcell and film "Hip Hoperaton" were two premiers among total of 10 films. Chinese first tier fim celebrity, actress Song Jia, actor Guo Tao and film director Gao Qunshu, film producer Feng Hanmo were in Auckland to join the grand operning of the film festival. It was a fantastic even, not only having attracted film lovers from all communities in Auckland to enjoy the movies, but also having created great influence among film industry both in New Zealand and overseas. It has become one of the remarkable multicultural annual events in Auckland especially in Asian community. The festival has received great support and positive response from public.

Tong Yao Concert 2014
Little Teresa Deng Brings the Old Time Back

Tong Yao, Known as little Teresa Deng, together with China Opera and Dance Theatre Symphony Orchestra, came to Auckland and performed in Skycity Theater on 15 & 16 November 2014. Her wonderful voice and classic songs has brought the beautiful old time back to us as if Teresa Deng had reappeared on stage.

The Embroidery Girl
Chinese Original Dance Drama

The story of the dance The Embroidery Girl took place during the transition period from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. It tells the Legendary story of a talented girl from South China, Xiu Niang, who loved the art of embroidery and later became an embroidery master. Through her pursuit of embroidery and her tragic romance with her lover(Ming Xuan),the dance drama illustrates a Chinese woman’s struggles and her fight for the liberty to live and love freely.
